It is a long-standing tradition at the Evergreen State Fair that on the opening day of the Fair we hold a food drive benefitting our local food banks. Our community never lets us down and together we have been able to offer thousands of meals to those in need.
In 2020, despite not having a Fair due to COVID, we were still able to successfully hosted a drive through event that brought in 6,309 pounds of food and $4,275 in donations which benefitted the Volunteers of America Western Washington and the Snohomish County Food Bank Coalition.
2021 Fair Food Drive
Opening Day Food Drive... but NOT on Opening Day
We did things a little different this year. Instead of offering daily gate admission specials, we are moved our Opening Day Food Drive to before Opening Day so that you can choose which weekday you’d like to save on admission to come to the Fair.
We are proud to announce that with your help, we were able to raise 13,655 lbs of needed items for local area food banks.
Thank you to all who came out on July 10th to support this event!
