2020 Snohomish County Food Drive

Thank-youFood-Drive-Banner

The Fair is canceled, but giving is not!

It has been a long-standing tradition at the Evergreen State Fair that on the opening day of the Fair we hold a food drive benefitting our local food banks. Our community never lets us down and together we have been able to offer thousands of meals to those in need and you did it again! You helped us collect a whopping 6,309 pounds of food and $4,275 of donations which will benefit Volunteers of America Western WA and the Snohomish County Food Bank Coalition. On what would have been the first day of the annual 12-day fair, the community came out in droves to support their neighbors, decorate their cars as floats and even to indulge in some fair scones.

Thank you to our community partners!

We are partnering with Volunteers of America Western Washington to gather donations for local area food banks.
COVID-19 is having a huge impact on our community. This is our opportunity to help those in need.

“The need for access to good, free food is ever present and we don’t see that need ending for several more months; if not into 2021,” said Jessica Moore, Director of Development for Volunteers of America Western Washington. “Monetary donations are the best so that we have the flexibility to buy the food we need.”

Here is a list of needed items.
