"Whaaat!?" |
This mystery was set around the Flaherty family and their business - Flaherty's True Green Plant Nursery. Flaherty's was founded by Pader Flaherty 100 years ago after arriving from his native Ireland and settled in the City of Blarney. There he built a greenhouse to grow plants which were popular in Ireland. It continues to be a family-run business, that has grown to be the major producer of shamrocks, supplying the entire state with the plant, especially for "the wearin' of the green." Although rumors persist that the family members have been at odds with each other for years, the family has maintained an outward calm, denying all rumors of a rift.
The family had a private 100 celebration with their nursery staff and their best customer the night before. Patrick Flaherty (the nursery's owner and grandson of Pader) was the center of attention as the nursery's milestone was toasted. He and his family were to have stayed overnight at the Blarney Inn, but this morning, his body was found at the nursery.
Tonight, what should have been the grand public celebration of Flaherty's has now turned into a wake. Their guests were drawn into the quest to find out who killed Patrick Flaherty.
This mystery had a cast of 10 and raised $2,759.40 for the Maltby, Sky Valley and Sultan Food Banks.
